“We initiate the development of the practice of mindfulness in environments endangered by stress and burnout.”
The EduMind Foundation has been promoting and teaching mindfulness in Poland since 2017. A driving principle of the foundation is bringing mindfulness into settings where stress and burnout is most common. Much of their work is focused in the area of education, recognising that this is a sector with high risk for stress and therefore has the potential for far-reaching benefits.
The foundation draws on a variety of mindfulness practice and techniques to create bespoke training and support tailored to the needs of individuals and organisations across Poland. The team of certified mindfulness teachers deliver a range of options from formal mindfulness courses such as MBSR (‘Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction’), MBLC (‘Mindfulness Based Living Course’), ‘Mindful Compassionate Parenting’ and ‘Living in the Present’ to less formal approaches such as mindfulness in daily life. EduMind is always working to deliver the training and support needed to build learning and working environments where everybody can gain access to the skills and resources they need to flourish.
EduMind have a website packed full of information about mindfulness, its benefits and applications, which acts as a resource and hub for information and training. As a foundation they are always looking to connect with other mindfulness practitioners and organisations. In November 2025 they partnered with WSB ‘Merito’ University and Heart of Mindfulness foundation to deliver an ambitious conference: ‘Mindfulness and compassion – about wisdom, which supports wellbeing and can change the world’.

The conference welcomed teachers, psychologists, speech and language therapists and many other professionals that work with children, as well as parents, non-governmental organisations, doctoral students and people with an interest in conscious living. International and Polish researchers, lecturers and participants were brought together to discuss themes of how to support children’s development through building strong and healthy relationships with them at school and at home, how to be the present parent or adult that children need and what role the education system can have in supporting these aims.
The EduMind Foundation is passionate about bringing mindfulness into schools and organisations to promote health and wellbeing and to help adults and students navigate difficult times with attentiveness and compassion. They hope to secure funding to continue to make their training for educators and parents accessible. They are open to collaboration with organisations engaged in similar activities and those with expertise in this area.
